Morlai Kargbo FCCA is Managing Director in charge of Moracle Ltd. He trained at a three-partner practice in Middlesex where he qualified as a chartered certified accountant. He was an audit manager with them for several years before the firm merged with central London-based mid-tier audit firm, haysmacintyre. In January 2008, he left haysmacintyre to set up Moracle Ltd as an ACCA registered accountancy and audit training firm. In 2010, he set up Moracle Foundation, a social enterprise to provide support to accountancy graduates and students who are working towards their ACCA accreditation. He has particularly focused his outreach to minority communities and new arrivals to the UK, including those from Eastern Europe. His passion in this area was born out of his experience in various accountancy organisations who failed to reach out beyond the normal sector of the public for training opportunities. He uses much of his spare time working for voluntary organisations and is a steward at his local church.
